Demi Lovato might be revisiting her previous in her upcoming docuseries, Dancing With the Satan, which might be launched on March 16.
In it, she remembers her near-fatal 2018 overdose and the way she ended up saving her life.
“I discuss [it] lots [in the docuseries]. And the world has been so loving and accepting of me telling my story,” she mentioned on The Ellen DeGeneres Present. “There’s been a lot love and help.”
“What’s nice is we dwell in a time the place no one’s good, and we’re not going to get position fashions by watching individuals not make errors,” Lovato continued. “We’re going to satisfy and be taught from our position fashions who’ve overcome their deepest, darkest struggles.”
Lovato mentioned she hopes her docuseries will “set the file straight” about her overdose as a result of “a number of tales had been going round at the moment” that weren’t precisely true.
“I simply [want] to inform the world, ‘Hey, that is what occurred, that is how I received via it, and hopefully this can assist you too’ as a result of this journey has been such a wild journey,” she mentioned. “However I’ve realized a lot, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.”
