Scooby-Doo, the beloved Saturday morning cartoon that launched in 1969, will incorporate a brand new component in its newest episode: a visitor cameo from none apart from Weapons N’ Roses’ frontman Axl Rose. The mystery-solving gang – Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and titular pup Scooby — stroll as much as a diner on Route 66 after they first spot the singer.
The “Welcome to the Jungle” singer is lounging on a bike, carrying a hat and cranium necklace.
Recognizing the GNR frontman, Velma exclaims “Jinkys” because the gang proclaims in unison: “it’s singer/songwriter/musician and whole rock god Axl Rose!”
Seems Rose is already friends with Scooby and Shaggy, and he joins the group in an effort to seek out “a mysterious group of mud males who steal the Thriller Machine,” in response to Rolling Stone.

The episode airs on Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on Boomerang, and can subsequently be accessible to stream on Boomerang OTT.
It’s not the primary time the Scooby-Doo gang has attached with celebrities. Over the lifetime of the collection and films, they’ve been joined by animated company together with Sonny & Cher and Dick Van Dyke.
